How to make Fereni (Persian Custard)

Fereni is a popular dessert in Iran and is mainly prepared during the month of Ramadan. This dessert can be either consumed hot or cold depending on preference. It is also popular to design the dessert with some cinnamon or you can use jam if you don't like cinnamon.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups of milk
- 4 tablespoons of starch
- 6-8 tablespoons of sugar
- Cinnamon
Directions:
1. Pour your milk into a container and add the starch to it. Mix until all the starch is mixed in well.

2. Add your sugar to the mixture and mix again.

3. Cook on a medium temperature for 20 to 30 minutes until the mixture starts to thicken.
4. For the final touch, you can sprinkle some cinnamon on top if you’d like.
