Halva is a sweet dense paste made with flour and butter. Halva is originally an Arabic dessert that literally translates to "sweet", but found it's way to many Asian and north African countries. In Iran it is usually served during funerals or during the month of Ramadan.

Ingredients:
- 60g of chickpea flour
- 60g of rice flour
- 60g of wheat flour
- 80g of vegetable oil
- 15g of butter
- 1/4 teaspoon of saffron
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of rose water
Directions:
1. Pour your water in a pot and start heating it up. Add your sugar to it and mix well until the sugar is mixed in well into the water. Then add in your saffron and the rose water.

2. After a couple minutes of it boiling, leave it aside to cool down. In a separate pan starting with the wheat flour, cook your flour for about 15 minutes, then add in add in your rice flour and cook them for another 10 minutes. Finally add in the chickpea flour and cook for another 10 minutes.

3. Add in your vegetable oil to the flours and mix well. Add your butter as well and mix well.

4. Now add in the sauce that we prepared earlier slowly and mix while adding.

Enjoy!
